Mummers Parade 2022 Online

Mummers from each division play a unique role in the parade. The Comics Brigade and Wench Brigade satirize issues, institutions, and individuals. The Fancies impress with glamorous outfits that rival those of royalty. The String Bands gleefully play banjoes, saxophones, percussion. And other reed and string instruments.

While the 2021 Mummers Parade is canceled. PHL17 said it plans to make Mummers content available to Philadelphia area viewers on New Year’s Day. On the first day of 2021. beginning at 9 a.m., Philadelphia Public Television 17 will broadcast 13 hours of Mummers Parade footage from the last 10 years. The 13-hour showcase starting at 9 am will feature the highest scoring performances from each individual club of the last 10 years, interviews with Mummers captains, and a sneak peek at the Mummers documentary “For Them”.

Mummers Parade 2022 begins at City Hall and ends on Washington Avenue. Throughout the entire event, the performers put on a show. But three special performance areas are designated along South Broad Street. Also known as the Avenue of the Arts. An awards ceremony will be held on John F. Kennedy Boulevard at 15th Street.

After the Fancy Brigades finish their entire route. They head to the Pennsylvania Convention Center for the Mummers Fancy Brigades Finale. Mummers can watch a run-through of their routines in front of the John F. Kennedy Boulevard between 16th and 22nd Streets if they arrive early. Besides meeting the marchers, spectators can also get a close-up view of the costumes and take a few Instagram-worthy selfies.
